Some good ones there Loyal ... you actually converted me back to cyclinig this year (well I was laid up with the knee) but found the Schleck - Contador battle rivetting (even as Gaeilge!). Some good ones there alright - will have a think about mine - though my No 1 is a stick on!

10. Dublin v Cork - great occasion, intriguing game - but we just came up short.
9. All Ireland Hurling final - what a performance by Tipp.
8. Dublin beating the future All Ireland champions by 9 points in the League in Parmell Park.
7. Leeds coming from behind to beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 to clinch promotion.
6. Graeme McDowell winning the US Open at Peeble Beach.
5. Dublin beating Tyrone by 6 points in the League in Healy Park - a great performance - especially considering Tyrone had to win to stay in Div 1.
4. The real United going to Old Trafford and beating the hosts 1-0 in FAC3 - great start to the year.
3. Dublin beating defending champs Kerry in the League in Tralee -
2. The amazing Katie Taylor winning her 3rd World Title in Barbados.
1. Dublin finally nailing the QF hoodoo and beating Tyrone - most memorable day!

Knew I'd forget one .... Dublin ladies winning the All Ireland goes in there at 3!!! Well done gals!

ps Nor mentioning the vuvuzuela ridden summerfest at all ...

I have one major one, that comes to mind, Antrims winning point v dublin in croke park and the silence of the hill, was brilliant had a laugh with the dubs that day, was delighted as the dubs had HAMMERED clare just a week earlier. Made a reals statement about where antrim stand in the pecking order.
