Gimp of the year 2010...

Pursuant to Louis Walsh's success in the 2009 Gear Grinder of the year contest, Boxty, under the advice of a local sage, is commencing the search for the 2010 winner. The downside to starting this search in Sept. is that we may have forgotten by now, any number of worthy contenders.
To rectify this issue going forward, it is proposed to hold a monthly contest in 2011, whereby we may have 12 monthly winners to contest a "Grand Final".
Should, for argument's sake, any single individual win the monthly award on more than one occasion, then a form of "Wildcard" poll will take place to make up a final selection panel of 12***

So, to kick off the 2010 contenders, all of whom I hope are worthy nominees, I'll nominate John Gormley of the Green party..
All nominees from this date, 11/09/2010 until 01/01/2011 are in the frame for this prestigious award...

Dauber also feels that there should be an award title for this contest, like the Seanie Fitz Gimp of the Year award......opinions on this are welcome.

***Boxtyeater and a special select committee of chosen advisers will be on hand to adjudicate on the merits of nominations and the stature of gimpieness..
