I know it's dubious that this is in a sports thread at all but his achievement from the Darts Premier League Final surely deserve a mention!!

To defeat James Wade by 10-8 in the final was one thing, but to score two 9 dart finishes in the one match is truly amazing stuff from a master of his craft!!

It's about time that little fat woman with all the bling in London gave him a knighthood!

And he was on for another but missed the 8th dart!

Lovely darts!!!

I don't care if it's a game or a sport or a passtime but by God he is the master.. He has an obsession with nine darters and has called this the greatest moment of his career..

I admire his fitness and stamina. His desire to go the extra mile when the other fit lads are falling around him with fatigue ...

Magic stuff....The beauty of it is that he enjoys it and isn't afraid to throw a few shimmies after it....

I wish I enjoyed my work as much as he does!!!!!!!!!

Wow, just watched this now. Magic stuff. It's a long way from John Lowe doing it in the 80's!

A tremendous sportsman, and Monday's performance was as good as I've seen. 2 nine darters, and almost a 3rd.

Listening to him interviewed, I've always thought that he must have been a seriously unloved child, as I don't think I've ever seen anybody, in any sport, with such an insatiable desire to win everything that he enters. No amount of titles or recognition will ever be enough for Taylor.

He may not be an athlete, but his dedication, hunger and temperament are an example to just about any other sportsman out there.
