Disgusting would be a word that'd spring to mind. He should be banned from the sport. Any respect I've ever had for that fella is diminished. He's going to get one heck of a shock when he goes to get his Sunday paper!

I suppose the real question is how widespread is this in the sport - One can get a bit sceptical about Parrots world title, Jimmy white losing a big lead to Hendry, Joe Johnsons world title and in particular how Ronnie can hammer somone and rattle in ceturies and then suffer a bizarre loss of form in the next game.

Another top player was mentioned by Mooney but can't be mentioned for legal reasons.. Shocking stuff. It appears Patrique knew what he was talking about all along.
Higgins claiming he thought it was the Russian Mafia and only continued the conversation out of fear, give up the game man for God's sake!

Thank you Jon.
My friend was manager of William Hill when they had to suspend betting on the first day in 1986 when everyone got on Joe Johnston at 150/1.
eamon Mccann really did tell us that Ken Dochertuy was the winner in 1997, a week before it started.
And 1985 was always dodgy, and a few others.

John Higgins has issued a statement that he will make no further comment on throwing matches until he has spoken to his friend and associate Steven Gerrard.
