I hate the term "world class"
Is it just me or does anyone else cringe when you hear soccer players, managers, commentators saying this?
The feckers use it to describe everything, "world class tackle", "world class pass", "world class goal", "world class player" (seems just about ever cnut in the premiership is world class these days), "world class coach",
Has this term always been used or is it a new thing? Either way it really gets on my nerves.
Maybe i am just a world class grumpy f***ker

Re: I hate the term "world class"
Commentators are great. There was the lad tonight telling us how class (not world I think) Defoe was as a finisher before the replay showed that Jaaskelainen (spelling?) knocked it in and Defoe was nowhere near it!
ps The WBA stewards were a bit heavy after their ET defeat to Reading - not letting the players go down to the travelling fans. Send them up to the Hill - we'll show 'em .........
