George Lee
So Mr Lee has thrown his toys out of the pram and decided to quit. We have top class economists in this country and there is no consensus among them as to how we will get out of our difficulties. Some disagree on NAMA or job creation or stimulus packages or a whole host of things across the economy. But George had the silver bullet. This tv reporter had all the answers. He was more clever that all the economic brains in this country and Europe and we wouldn't listen. Didn't something like this happen about 2010 years ago.

I don't think many people took much heed of the gurglings of a baby back then Kerry!

I always found his films vastly overrated. Do The Right Thing for example.

Re: George Lee
Kenny will NEVER be Taoiseach. His best chance was in May '07 and it has gone downhill since then.
Why has he never chaired a motion of No Confidence in the current government? Because he knows he cannot do any better.
Ok so Fine Gaels' RTÉ personality lasted a bit longer than the PDs effort but it was always going to go pear-shaped.
I'm not a fan of Fine Gael at all but I think that when all the dust settles from this, Fine Gael will have a new leader - Richard Bruton - and he'll be the man to overthrow the current government.

As much as I hate FF, I'd say they are probably the best party to have in charge at the moment but could still improve on the job they are doing such as clearing up the wrongs with social welfare and the public sector.
