Re: Countdown
Poor old Richard Whiteley! A show that had an average age viewer slightly older than Live at Three now appears to have every perv in Galway and Meath (total = 2 blokes) watching.
Speaking of Countdown - great anecdote that Peter Alliss does - goes like this ...
Commenting on eventual winner Fernandez-Castano's all-over-the-place scorecard, his co-commentator remarked that Carol Vorderman would be required to add it up. 'Ooh, Carol Vorderman' said Alliss lasciviously, 'I like her. I was watching Countdown last week and got aroused..(perfect pause)..Seven letters. Very good.'

Admins, can this thread be locked and removed. It is salacious, filthy, lewd, libidinous, coarse, prurient, lecherous and condescending. Here you have intelligent women portrayed as carnal objects. As the holder of an above average IQ I strenuously object.

Can I point out here to the newbies that we already have a dedicated Donal óg thread on here somewhere and they are free to exchange any kind of information they like on that thread. This however, is the Countdown Thread and if they have no positive contribution to make to this thread then please refrain from posting there upon.
Bearing this in mind I fully expect the admins will delete the above posts from 3inarow and KerryKatriona.
That is all.
