Cinema Thread
Here's a general thread to chat about films in the cinema...
I start of with a bloody clinker (excuse the pun!)
Inglorious Basterds, excellent show- Tarantino at his best! I urge you to see it, even if you don't have an interest in the 2nd world War still worth a look.

Really Oaksy?, was planning on going to see it but one of the lads said he saw it and was shite. Would be great to see Quentin return to his very best.

Re: Cinema Thread
I though it was excellent, you have to watch it closely though as there are a couple of sub plots that eventually work their way to the main plot. Its very gorey at times, but its the middle of a war! Its quite funny at times as well, Pitts character comes out with some great one liners. Usually when a film hits the 1 and a half hour mark I'm ready for home as I lose concentration, however it was 2 and a half hours long and it didn't seem it- def worth seeing.

What is your favourite Tarantino flick Oaks? I remember leaving the cinema when I was even younger than you are now after seeing Pulp Fiction thinking it would be a long time before I saw something as good in the cinema again. Unfortunately I was right.

Says I clutching a hapennies in my left hand, What the ****, is he a specialist or what!? A pound into the **** a cinema. Jaysus, its a good job there was no recession in my day.

Re: Cinema Thread
At least I learnt tha Tarantino has made more than one film.
I remember being a student in Belfast during a golden age of cinema, the late 1960s and MOST of the 1970s.
And then someone made Star Wars.
The end.
