now if we could get the other joyce, meehan, bergin, armstrong and one or two more we have a big chance at the end of the month

I've been told Moss that he is a little high-maintenance? I know he's had his share of injuries but has he ever really done it at senior level for Galway?

No not really although hes always had the talent. A stylish player he suffers a bit from Broganitis, a refusal to pass to a player in a better position. I've seen his elder cousin openly castigate Nicky on the pitch for taken the wrong options.
To be fair injuries have played their part and perhaps we've never got to see the best of him.

Rich don't sell yourself short, I think it'll be tough for us against you. I think we'll nick it in the last 10 minutes but it won't be easy by any stretch.

As for Nicky Joyce, if we're to go anywhere he deifnitely needs to play a part but everyone needs to know whose in charge so hopefully this will get him focused.

Nicky Joyce has made a dramatic return to the Galway squad ahead of the Connacht SFC final against Mayo on July 19.

The
highly-rated forward was axed from Liam Sammon's squad for disciplinary
reasons shortly after the Tribesmen's first round victory over London
in Ruislip. However, after impressing for his club Killererin in a
recent club game, he has been invited back into the panel, and is
expected to make a strong bid for inclusion in the Connacht final
starting XV after the Galway attack struggled to put Sligo away last
Sunday.

Rewarding indiscipline ..... a sign of weakness ..... how is the guy whose place he may take .... the guy who trained and behaved himself gonna feel .... discontent in the dressing room ....... split camp .....Galway implode again ...... victory for Mayo ....

jayo thats the same argument used against stevie oneill last year ( apart from misbehaviour ) if he is good enough there wont be an issue .... if they are bate however he's public enemy no 1!

I've got last weeks in my hand and I can give you this weeks next Monday if thats any help?

No you are safe enough there for not being quoted on that Rupp - what with posting it on a public forum and all ............

i meant it as it might be just a rumour and i didnt want to ruin the lads reputation if it isnt true!!
Anyway i think they have a strong enough panel to leave him out! even though if he were from sligo he would be irraplaceable!!

That was part of it. Getting bananas drunk in London and taking the door off its hinges of the Galway dressing room after being subbed didn't entirely help matters either.
