Music Tastes
Just watching MTV - Its only when you're on study leave you realise just how bad daytime TV is - and Lily Allen was on and it just made me think "God I'd love to give her a bloody good slap in the chops!" she irritates the hell out of me. She's not talented, not interesting and not funny. I wish she would just disappear.
Anyone any music loves or hates they wanna share?

Re: Music Tastes
I used to really dislike Amy Winehouse but after a couple of listens to her music it seemed to get better and now I find her bearable.

Lily Allen is great - and I'm sticking by that.
Gorillaz
Blur
Messiah J and the Expert
Chemical Brothers
I like pretty much everything to be honest. However I'l not a fan of Winehouse at all.

I've had enough Saw doctors between Quinns (and in fact Coppers played them enough for my yearly quota)
Snow Patrol as well I like

I love this song. I can vaguely remember it being on Early Edition but I was a bit young so I'm not sure.
All-time classic. One of my favourite songs.

It's kind of catchy. I'm not too gone on Des himself but the song's pretty good.

Sorry to butt in girls but just to affirm my antiquity, I'm back from the Clonmel Park hotel and a Tommy Fleming concert.
The lad has a great voice and apart from a rehash/bags job of "Raglan Road" the event was thoroughly enjoyable.
The hotel was top class as well, plenty of Tipperhairy cailíns working there with a very welcoming and pleasant approach to visitors.
The "War Office" was mightily impressed.
Kudos to The Clonmel Park hotel...I'll leave ye to it...

Oh! he did it all right Lil. Excellent backing group as well - very talented musicians. Guy called Davy Hughes is a tremendous box player.
