Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
Loyal, Keith Higgins plays exceptional stuff for the mayo hurlers. He deserves to be on any county team-but many people dont even know he plays hurling. He's always their top scorer, and plays unbelievable stuff for the Mayo footballers too. I'd add him on too......also, this isnt a biased opinion:P

Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
Where's Keith Higgins, ah come on loyal, he's better than half the players there. Plays brilliant shtuff for Mayo. Although he's a brilliant player for the Mayo footballers, he's even more committed to the hurling. So, include him now, and I'm not asking you either......I'm telling you

Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
He usually plays at full-forward, but it'd be a crime to take kelly out, so I'd take mcCrabbe out and put Higgins in at no.10. He makes good runs and can hit long-range points. I remember when Mayo were playing the wesmeath hurlers in 2007, Keith hit the best point i've ever seen, from the full back line-unbelievable talent.

your keeper is onlt at best the third in the country, Fitzhenery and Cummins aheads of him by the odd country mile.
Moran of Waterford would be good enough for a corner back spot as to would Ollie Canning
M Jacob wouldn't be at a loss on your half back line
Nearly go with the rest.
But Loyal surprised at you picked that "overrated pup" of a Joe Canning!!!!!!!!!!

Joe Canning?? Come on Loyal, get real. He's slow and one-sided with absolutely no 1st touch at all to speak of.If you subtract everything he's won its clear that he's achieved completely nothing in his very short career
Proving here yet again your very limited understanding of the game of hurling L2TR

Hey Loyal knows more about hurling then you'll ever know and that's for sure. Joe Canning is a good player with great prospects for the future. You're a Galway supporter anyway, obviously not a very good one.

Niall Moran has been Limerick's best player this League campaign. He's playing marvellous stuff by all accounts. Has carried all the forwards. I gaurantee you, Liamo my friend, he is a Limerick regular and so far has been their POTY.

Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
I cant believe the lack of respect for Joe Canning. He's one of Galways best players!! Besides, he's still young and he hasnt reached his peak as a hurler yet. Despite that, he has played exceptional stuff for Galway and Portumna. Also, Mossbags, dont dismiss Loyal like that. He's one of the most knowledgable people on here on GAA matters. He's well respected and doesn't need to be needlessly told that crap when he actually does know his stuff.

Loyal, if Niall Moran is on anyones team of the year by Sept 09 I will eat my hat, and its an old crusty hat with some weird reddish/brownish kinda stain on the back. Tis the only hat/cap i have tho!!! Not a cap person! But, if Moran is on anyones team of the year, I will eat that hat!!! And i will post it on youtube!!

Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
There appears to have been a mis-understanding here.
Lil; I appreciate you leaping to my defence. Thank you very much.
But mossbags was attempting to be sarcastic.
Joe is worthy of a place in the team and the Galway man knows it. However he is not as of yet worthy of a mention when people talk about Keher, Ring, Rackard, Sparrow. Unfortunetely, the said Galway man is not aware of this.

No problem Loyal. I was thinking he was sarcastic especially after what he said about McDonald.

Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
OK Liam. But give the man credit. He has carried Limerick these past few months. He has been brilliant out in the half-forward line. Just the sort of lad Limerick need to catch all the puck outs. And he is regularly scoring from play along with being Limerick's new official freetaker. Shaughs wouldn't get next or near my team with the way he is playing.

he may have hung up his boots for Meath, but what he gave to Meath fans in playing as well and as skillful as he did, will live in their hearts forever. He's a meath and gaa legend and Loyal is entitled to have a picture of a legend up. Mossbags, you know you've been proven wrong when you bring up something as irrelevant as that...

Maybe if GG was half decent looking it would be OK Esther but look at the head on him. Holy Mother of Jaysus
Maybe if he looked after himself a bit you know, like Ciaran MacDonald!

Re: Dream Team (Minus Kilkenny Players)
Another personal attack on a player I see. Well he's certainly better looking than that one you have up.

Again, personal attacks on players when theres no call for it. Stick to the topic Bag of Moss
