John Mullane calls time....
Colourful doesn't do justice to this great servant of Waterford hurling as he calls time on his inter-county career...

Game as a pebble, spirited, galvanatic and one of a few chosen hurlers that I wish had added a Celtic Cross to their collection.
Best wishes to you Boy..

Hopefully he'll reconsider. The one man who had the passion and drive to make all the badge-grabbing, free-celebrating and general feckactery that is prevalent in hurd'ling bearable. Wa'her'for will miss him.

He is on 49 Championship appearances. My money is on him getting the 50 ...

Re: John Mullane calls time....
always had a lot of time for him as a player, a fiery baxtard at times but was one who could be depended on to give 100% at all times. And often took games by the scruff and hauled club and country over the line.
Best memory of him was after the thrashing they got from Kilkenny in the AI Final he had the decency to remain on the field for the presentation unlike the rest of his colleagues.

Fair play to Lar Corbett who went straight into the Cats dressing room after the semi defeat last year. Mind you he was stuck in Tommy's shorts.
