actually P my hurling prowess is well known around Tyrone. I might have a better idea than some of the folk who will be there, notably the prawn sandwich brigade.

Was actually thinking there Boc that if you wanted to go to a Hurling Final and have never been, then this Sunday would be a good chance as there will be tickets available.

Thought it was sold out P. Never been to one but it is on the 'to do' list. Would like to have taken my father, he's getting on in years and always talked about going to one. This weekend is out though, Sligo here we come for another 200 mile trek. Thankfully I am on 4 wheels not 2!!!

If Walter Walsh is the same Walter Walsh who I seen in Semple Stadium in the u21 final two weeks ago, then Kilkenny can forget about any All-Ireland. Not a hope. Himself and Power looked completely clueless that night.
I heard about Skehill on the radio too - devasting so close to a game but also Galway's chances lessened in his absense.

Power and Walter putting big pressurebon full back line
Larkin ruled first 25 mins
Kk scored heavy in their purple patches - came off the boil before half time hitting speculative shots
Unchartered waters for Galway to come back
Looks like cats ?

Re: Galway V Kilkenny A/I Final 2012...Official thread.
I might revise my early opinion about Kilkenny. They seem to be here for the long haul. Granted, my early summer comments were somewhat tongue in cheek, irascible and provoking and I had a good gloat after the leinster Final....Opinions change.
Today, Kilkenny, to a man, proved their worth. Their high-octane game was at it's zenith, from 5-12 they were in the zone and their inside men were firing. Galway were out of their depth, as would Tipp or Cork. This was one of Kilkenny's best performances in our time, in that almost every man pulled his weight, they appeared up for it and weren't afraid to grapple for dirty ball...Galway were the direct opposite..
Cody has yet again introduced fresh legs. In the past 2 years (inclusive) in have come Herity, Murphy, Joyce, Buckley, Doyle and Walsh.
We'll hardly see Taggy again, nor Larkin, Hickey or even Tennyson....I'll close with a famous line.

Loyal as only Loyal can puts his two feet right in it in a massive way. Probably the most embarrassing post of the year thus far - maith thú!
The Boxty lad and Moss have hardly covered themselves in glory either with their premature swansongs for this great team. Parouisa knew the score - King Henry for double figures in 2013.

havent seen any of this but listened to some of it on the radio, Kilkennys response to Galways 2 goals was superb, sounded like Galway couldnt get near the ball for 15 minutes or so.
you only get one bite of the cherry against teams like Kilkenny, miss it the first day and your fooked
