Re: Performances of the championship
In support of the so called "weaker" counties, it's worth recalling the performances of Wexford's Ben Brosnan this year. The first day I saw him I had a kind of flashback to the early days of The Mort... This guy is cut from a different cloth however and made it all look easy....
Top scorer in the champo as well I think...

Conolly v Tyrone was standout - if only he could be more consistent. Cillian O'Connor in Connacht Final was excellent too given the conditions and his age.

Also Jamie Clarke v Down was unmarkable and Cian Ward's goalscoring exploits v Louth were memorable. Lar Corbett got an All Star for doing similar.

In fairness, I don't think Lar's goals came against Louth, which is why he did get an all-star.

In fairness Louth put up a better fight on the day than Waterford who were like earwigs in the spotlight!

Arragh TC, this Parouisa is but a newbie. There's no need for that level of ascerbic comment. Since the departure of JayoCluxton, the recently rescinded carding of Hip and the incarceration of Mullins, the sight of a Dublin supporter is most welcome...
You'll frighten him off I tell you....
