NFL Fixtures 2012
Meath are at home to Monaghan, Kildare, Derry and Louth and away to Westmeath, Galway and Tyrone.
To be quite honest, I think the fixtures and homes/aways have been kind to us. I would expect us to take 6 out of 8 points from the home games and 4out of 6 from the away games. A team in Division II can usually afford up to two losses and still fancy promotion. Meath must fancy their chances in League 2012.
One another thing that catches my eye is that Meath and Derry are due to play on March 17th, 2012. I.e. St Patrick's Day. Presumably an evening fixture? I guess it's unusual for St. Patrick's Day to be on a Saturday but obviously the GAA have no problem with NFL fixtures that weekend clashing with the club finals?
I am already looking forward to that particular game on St. Patrick's Day.

It would be a good idea to have it on later in the evening. Meath won't have any club role anyway and it will help the fans to be half steamed when having to watch them.

Must have been a mistake. All the other press releases have it as a March 18th fixture like all the League games of that particular round.
