I was in the jacks ag leath ama during the Semi. A jackeen beside me on the verge of pulling his ever receding hair out said
" We're playing too many midfielders, we need to move back to the 3-3-2-3-3 formation. i've been LOLing ever since. God bless them. Ahhhhh

Come on Jayo, you started the thread, so give us your take on the answer. Several others have had a go, and there is quite a difference in opinion, even on things as basic as who will have primary marking duties (Fitzsimmons or O'Sullivan).

As the longest-standing Dublin poster on here, let's have a bit of pre-game analysis from you, instead of debating whether or not JB's jokes are funny!

I think it will be a two pronged strategy. Obviously Dublin will seek to cut the space around Gooch and have bodies there. They will not leave Gooch with acres to run into. I expect one of the half forwards to hover in the area in front of FB line and never more than a few metres in front of Gooch basically looking to cut the pass. I also think Cian O'Sullivan is the likeliest man to take up duty on Gooch. I think he will play it as he sees it - hopefully using his intelligence - but very tight on CC. No point in getting a yellow in first 10 either.

To me the secret will be to frustrate the front Kerry 6 for as long as possible. To see PG introduced after half an hour would actually be a huge boost to the Dubs in this context.
