What county are you from?

Antrim

What is you or your counties biggest GAA achievement to date?

Reaching the 1989 all ireland hurling final, a feat unachieved by nearly everyother county in ulster and connaught. Me personally captaining my club minor hurling team.

Do you prefer the intercounty or club scene?

Personally these days ive to go for intercounty but i do keep involved in the club scene playing and coaching, love my club and always will but spend more time following antrim this weather.

Your favourite ground in Ireland?

Have to say Casement, if it was the old croker i would have said it but its just not the same, the new casement will be interesting to see if it still holds the same place in my heart.

Your child hood sporting hero?

From my own county i go for Allister Elliot who i met for the first time a fort night a go a legend of a hurler and a gentle man, Johnny Dooley was my child hood hurling hero though.

Your current favourite inter county players?

Corman Donnelly, Paddy Cunningham, Tommy Walsh

Team you would most like to see win Sam and Liam other than your own?

in the hurling i use to say galway but id swing towards the dubs this weather, in the football i dont know really i would say fermanagh but thats cheating as thats where my da is from so i'll say roscommon.

What other sporting teams do you follow if any?

Leeds United/Celtic and Ulster Rugby

What is your ambition in life?

To become a social worker working with the youth justice and mental health in adolescents.

What was your child hood sporting dream?

To win the Liam McCarthy with Antrim.

In what capacity in sport are you still involved?

I play reserve hurling for my club and coach kids hurling in the local club in my community also.

Club M the home of the slow set

The lower pitch in Rosmuc as featured in the 2009 all Ireland Gealtacht final. The team that can survive the midges will pervail

Now that i'm retired from football,i prefer the county scene

Thurles/Pairc Ui Chaoimh/Navan

Bobby Doyle /Mullins /The black panther

Your current favourite inter county players?

Tommy Walsh...Paul Flynn because he has improved so much this year

Team you would most like to see win Sam and Liam other than your own?

Waterford-Mayo

What other sporting teams do you follow if any?

Spurs life long supporter but since money became god i have lost interest in Soccer

What is your ambition in life?
To bring my children up with good values thankfully i have achieved this.

None i'm a realist

What is your biggest GAA achievement to date?
Attending several provincial and indeed A/I finals without paying (various disguises/ruses used).

Do you prefer the intercounty or club scene?
Club..At least you know the fooker personally that you're abusing.

Your favourite ground in Ireland?
The Hyde in Roscommon, it has the most lax stewards...

Your child hood sporting hero?
Packy McGarty.


Your current favourite inter county players?
Tommy Walsh, Gooch and and Paul Galvin.

Team you would most like to see win Sam and Liam other than your own?
Donegal and Wexford.

What is your ambition in life?
To be a burden to my children from 90 onwards.

What was your child hood sporting dream?
To grow up quickly so I could box the head off the Master, but he died when I was 13.....

In what capacity in sport are you still involved?
I give advice in the form of abuse from the back of the bar and occasionally from the sideline. I abstain from club AGM's..
