Jersey sponsors
Some counties seem to have (or had) very apt sponsor logos on jerseys!
Wexford (Wexford Cheddar) - if that wasn't hard cheese last Saturday night I don't know what was!
Dublin (Arnott's) - mullins: We are going to win Sam.
Bocerty: Ye Arnott!
Kilkenny (Avonmore) - The Cats always get the cream!
Laois (Heritage) - none so probably least apt of all.
Donegal (Donegal Creameries) - about to be creamed at the weekend??
Galway (Supermac's) - super me hole!
Carlow (Stone Developments) - ganja jersies with stoned on them .... say no more.
Tyrone (Target) - have been known to target opposition players alright ....
Meath (Kepak) - Dead meat ....

It was just to warn opposition teams what they'd be at the end of the match.

"The Bush" where the trave***** had the wedding......I'll have you know B&W that the proprietor of same Hotel, one Joseph Dolan, pulled a lifetime "Good Guy" award the night of the Connacht final in '94...
Such was the exuberance, that the team, having crossed the noble river with the Nestor Cup, failed to escape the county capital.....
As denizens in far flung outposts like Fenagh, Aughnasheelin and indeed the home of the heroes, below in Aughawillian, awaited the Connacht conquerors they were safely tucked away in the Bush Hotel.....
In fact, an inebriated Boxty witnessed the charade on the Monday morning, as the then Co.Treasurer, Joe Flynn attempted to pay for the accommodation.....
"My pleasure Joe, enjoy your day".....Boxty included himself under this remit and skedaddled.....

Truth be told JS, Boxty has "vague" reflections of the Viking on that Monday....
In between, somewhere, Boxty recalls Charlie Redmond coughing out a €50 for a round in Prior's (could have been an €80 round) in the company of Winker, Mickey Quinn and a crowd of hoors from Aughawillian......
Incredible occasion....[img][/img] X 116.....Boxty found on the Tuesday, asleep in the hayshed..
The best of it all is, Herself fully approved......Whats seldom is wonderful, or so it goes..

AP McCoy
Legendary jockey sponsors local club
04 August 2011
Champion jockey Tony McCoy has sponsored a new set of jerseys for his local GAA club St. Ergnat's in Moneyglass, Co. Antrim.
The name 'AP Enterprise' is emblazoned on the front of the new strip, which will be worn by the St. Ergnat's senior footballers. McCoy, who is also sponsoring St. Ergnat's coaches, was presented with a framed number 16 jersey - representing the number of times he has been champion jockey - when he visited the club last night.
Since recording his first win as a 17-year-old in 1992, Tony has ridden over 3,000 winners and has been named British jump racing champion jockey every year since 1995/6. His winners included the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase, King George VI Chase and the 2010 Grand National, riding 'Don't Push It' on his 15th attempt.
In addition, McCoy was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2010, becoming the first jockey to win the prestigious award.
