Re: Retro GAA Jerseys
People must have been smaller in the past.
For "normal" GAA jerseys the small size will do me, as they are made for people the size of henry shefflin.
The retro ones however, the small size was too...small.
Have they forgotten Joe McNally?

Yeah the small retro jerseys actually aren't as big as the normal ones, which isn't really a bad thing as the normal ones are huge. Kids sizes rule...

Are you serious? Legend has it that you're 7 feet tall and can change your skin like a chameleon to match any team strip.. And that when you're not on the pitch you shimmer a golden colour which if you get close enough to take a look is actually a cloak made of hurling and table quiz medals..
Amazing how stories about heroes get blown out of proportion isn't it....

On Saturday night v Cork they had one of those massive jerseys draped on the Hill. 'Look' says I to the brother, 'they've Joe McNally's jersey on the Hill!'

Meath 88 is a shocker - we had something like it too. Looks more like a crossword puzzle than a jersey. Don't like our 83 one either though I have one at home somewhere. I know it had something printed on it too but can't think what.

Yeah not the prettiest jersey ever made, I more got it because of the team and era it represents.

Re: Retro GAA Jerseys
I recall the half Dublin/ half Westmeath jersey of 1995 vintage - stitched together by a Kinnegad businesman. Not a classic in this commentator's view.
