Re: Christmas Top 30
Jaysus Sammy - 10 would have been better but I know you like to kill the patients. You started at 30 and 4 were dead by the time you got to No 1. Especially when they heard that ***** No 20. Number one is bang on - 11, 16 and 17 should be higher. 15 should be destroyed - and the artist ....

Re: Christmas Top 30
The only list I'd have Chris De Burgh on is a hit list.
And did he not have a big smash with 'I Saw Mammy Kissing Santa Claus' ??? No maybe it was 'I Saw Daddy Kissing the Nanny' I'm thinking of ..........

Re: Christmas Top 30
Still no room for Boxty's selection:
The 40 Sweet Afton a day sound of Chris Rea.."Driving home for Christmas"
This "list" is utter humbug.

Mind you I recall going to see Chris Rea at the Stadium in Dublin in 1983 or '84 ( ) in a bid to impress the woman of the day.
I recall nearly burning the fooking thumb off meself during the obligatory cigarette lighter vigil for Love's Strange Ways. Ah .. the things you did to impress a woman ...
