Re: Top 5 Footballers 2010
As the best player this year I would say Gooch. If I had been full forward for Kerry against Down, or if I had been in goal for Down, Kerry may have won the all Ireland.
Gooch was magnificent in all games.
Brogan however was also outstanding this year, and should win player of the year.

Re: Top 5 Footballers 2010
Jayo, nobody is saying brogan had a bad year. He prob would be in the top ten, but his shot selection at times was bizarre, particularly when it really mattered v cork. That let him down i think but a fine season non the less. If he keeps improving he could turn out to be a good player alright
