Movies That Make You Cry
Recently I feel that they have been making more and more movies just to play with my emotions! The last movie I went to see in the cinema was Toy Story 3, now I thought this would be a safe option but by the end of the film I was sitting in the cinema with mascara all down my face. Not cool. At all. A few days ago my mam and dad went out one night so I was left at home by myself and My Sister's Keeper was just starting on telly so I decided to watch that. I ended up lying on my couch at home by myself bawling crying for pretty much all of the second half of the movie, and every time I'd stop crying and clean my face up something else would happen and I'd just start all over again! I'm usually not that bad with crying at movies, apart from the obvious ones of The Notebook and Beaches. Has anyone got any strange ones that they cry at? My friend cried at Michael Collins when we watched it, and my sister used to cry at the ad on the telly where they used to like abuse the bucket and it cried but that's a bit different.

I cried when Miley did the dirt on Biddy down in the hayshed. My entire belief system was utterly destroyed that day and its been a painful process of rebuilding ever since.

Yeah but this was only after Biddy found a clutch of hay in Miley's boxer's when she was doing the washing and some of the hay had lipstick on it

I would never cry at a film cause that's for Weemen but that film 'Garage' with Pat Shortt really tested the area where my tear ducks would be if I wasn't such a manly man.

The only movie that ever made me cry was Saturday Night Fever. I have never since peeled onions while watching a movie ......

Re: Movies That Make You Cry
I won't spoilt it for anyone by naming names and it's not a movie but when a certain character in the Wire died I didn't so much cry as wander around lost for a good few days.
Titanic came close to making me cry, I got cramp in my leg and I think quiet possibly in my brain as result of both sitting idle for 3 hours!

Re: Movies That Make You Cry
Wouldn't be one for crying, think the last time I even got remotely choked up was when one of Robert Alner's horses won a race about a forthnight after he has suffered a serious kneck injury in a car crash and his wife gave an interview in the aftermath of the race and it was very moving....
The Lives Of Others is probably the most moving film I have watched in a long time, it is german but an excellent watch, also Control a film biography of the singer Ian Curtis' life is very sad....
