Hurling system far too complicated
So after a couple of dozen odd matches Replays extra time - Sending offs
and all the drama and analysis and Sunday game time and Column inches we are down to six teams
Kilkenny
Waterford
Galway
Tipperary
Galway
Antrim
There was never any huge amount of doubt about the first five and the sixth place came down to Antrim/Dublin/Clare/Wexford and Offaly with Antrim coming out as somewhat of a surprise and maybe Offaly falling foul of a tough draw
But did we really need all that hassle to get down a reasonably predictable final format.

Kilkenny used nine forwards against Galway the weakest of them was better than Corks best
Cork beat Tipp
Waterford barely bet Cork and Im not sure how long Davy Fitz's bunch and run U-12 tactics will work against the cats
Kilkenny have already bet Galway
so yes give it to them now unless Antrim keep surprising

Omar, please consider this a warning. That post was remarkably like one that Paddy would make (particularly the last line).
Any futher slippage of your posting style towards that of the senile one will be met by
censure, vilification and ostracisation.

A lot of Omar's posts do seem to have a familiar ring to them alright.

The term was pre-emptive RM
When I drafted the post without a mention of Antrim
I spotted that I was exposed to giving Patrique the last word.
so felt it best to close the loophole myself
