How is this fair?

A man kills a 15-year-old boy and only gets charged with manslaughter. Has the justice system in this country gone to hell altogether? I can't see why he only gets charged with manslaughter-can anyone make sense of that?

Esther its what they call a holding charge...while they investigate what happend ..They can upgrade it to murder -at a later date on the direction of the DPP

Esther - you post a thread asking about justice in this country when you yourself assume evidence, hold your own trial and pass judgment - from a couple of hundred miles away via media.

Hopefully justice will be served in this case - time will tell.
