Tohill new Irish International Rules Manager
I think that this is a very good appointment considering his achievements with Derry and his prior involvement with Aussie Rules. Seán Óg de Paor is also part of the management team, and Liston of Kerry, with O'Brien of Wicklow in there too. It's an impressive line-up, and hopefully we'll win the Cormac McAnallen Cup this year-we'll be playing on home soil.

Re: Tohill new Irish International Rules Manager
I am tiring of this competition simpy because it seems to mean much more to us then them.
There is something humiliating about a 2 way "rivalry" that means more to one than the other.
Its a bit like the Ireland England thing in football. It means the world to us, but nothing to them
I have no doubt the Oz players will be up for it, but it warrants barely a mention in Oz media and the Oz public really could not care less

Good to see big 2-hills giving something back to the sport
Not a fan of the Rules Series and would echo our 3-Time Guests comments about it meaning more to us than the Aussies. He's talking complete crap when he says it doesn't get any airtime out there, i've been there for 3 tours and they do give it the big hype!

Re: Tohill new Irish International Rules Manager
Im not a fan of the series although i do watch it, i cant help but think the gaa allowed the name of young cormac mc anallen to be put on the cup for this, im sure they could have represented cormac in a far better way.
The cormac mc anallen cup is something i never want us to lose, purely because of the fellas name being on it, and it was almost tearful to watch irish teams get bullied around in the past and not even stand up for themselves most of them, when they where representing us to try and bring the cormac mc anallen cup back to ireland or even keep it in ireland.
Im glad it lies with us, i hope it never leaves, purely because something with the name cormac mcanallen on it belongs to the gaa people and no one else! Good luck anthony with retaining the cup i hope you bring as much passion to the team as you did when playing. Thump for thump, eye for an eye and all that do what it takes!
