I searched this and I really hope it hasn't been done before or I'm going to seem like some dope!

I watched the Green Mile on TG4 tonight with my sister and I have to say it's one of my favourite movies and I always get a lump in my throat every time I watch it.

My other favourite movies are Beauty and the Beast, The Notebook, Beaches, Greenstreet, Michael Collins, Trainspotting, The Commitments and the Shawshank Redemption. Anyone able to come up with a stranger list than that?

I never though Toy Story 2 was as good as the first one.. the story line just isn't as strong but I love Jessie and all the wild west character thingys... Especially the horse

Love all Toy Story myself...I will break my usual 16-year-old's macho image by admitting that I have a large poster of all the Toy Story characters on my bedroom wall. Very Happy

My cousin is a big hard man footballer, and when he was 16 we showed him the Notebook and he cried. We then got it for him for his birthday and him and all his mates (his football team) watched before they went out and there wasn't a dry eye in the house!

Well I love the Notebook. I'm don't cry often but that movie just kind of shows this vision of a perfect love story which most people would love to have.

The finest film I have seen in recent years is the Korean classic Old Boy. The acting, plot and cinematography are all incredible. I won't give anything away, Its only 5 quid off Amazon and suggest ye purchase it right now!! Your favourite movie. Icon_cool

Infernal Affairs is another brilliant film from the far east too (really crap name though). It is almost the exact same as The Departed except with Chinamen (I initially thought The Departed was based on Whitey Bulger, not the case). Both versions are great films.

Yeah you're right! The second one doesn't even compare. I've always wanted an old mini because of that movie.

Brassed Off and Dead Poet's society are now my favourites.

However I still love ALL the Godfather's, Cuckoo's Nest, and old time greats like High Noon, On The Waterfront and Casablanca.

The late 60s and early 70s produced some brilliant films, before cinema died in 1978 with the release of star Wars.

Love it.

"Right, for this operation to work we all need to work as a team. That means you do exactly what I say."

"One last thing, remember in this country they drive on THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD"

"You've been away quite a while Mr Croker."
"I was in India shooting tigers" [produces huge wad of cash]
"You must have shot an awful lot of tigers!"
"Yes. I used a machine gun."

Got the film poster on my wall. Great movie.
