First Aid courses
Would anyone be able to recommend any? Civil Defence seems good, so too does the Order of Malta. I'd like to help out at matches and other sporting events once I'm fully trained and to build up experience!

i'm sure there are any amount of them about Essie - could you not ask your local club to organise one - if your looking for someone to practice on I'm sure Peadar Garndner would be up for it after yesterdays Oscar winning performance...........................

Thanks for the replies!
I'm looking to be fully qualified in first aid, so I can then help out at matches etc. For that reason, I think I may go for The Order of Malta as they help out at Pearse Stadium and other matches, as well as other events.

I have to admit, I haven't seen the incident yet so can't really comment without being biased! However, Gardiner is a hardy fella!

well if he is a hardy buck Essie I wouldnt like to see the soft touches int he Mayo camp an awful bit of play acting if you ask me. Acting the big man running yards to confront McMahon and then dropped like he'd been hit with a sledge hammer. The only thing more disgraceful was the fact that McMahon got a read whilst the guy who hit Ricey didnt - is it any wonder Mickey Harte is not a happy camper.
No doubt Galvins red card will be over turned before the week is out
