Best memory: Baldy Dub fan looking for his seat behind Canal goal before start of QF when a ball came over the ‘net’ and smack on to his head. We all laughed so much …. and then the match started …..

Best game: All Ireland Final Kilkenny v Tipp. (Honourable mention to U21 final)

Best Team: Kilkenny

Player of the Year: Tommy Walsh

Most sporting moment: Walsh not making a meal of hurley slap by Benny Dunne!

Best memory: Brian Cody interview with Marty Morrissey!



GAA personality of the Year: Evanne Ni Chuilinn.

best game: cork v kerry, drawn match

best team: kerry, most improved antrim or wicklow

best player: paul galvin (hate to admit it)

most sporting moment: mcmenamin and stevie mcdonnell helping eachother up from the ground after rough challenge.

best memory. ronan clarke scoring a great goal finally getting away from conor gormley who had been dragging him the whole game

Best game: Didn't see any of the Munster Final Games so I'll go for Dubs V Kildare

Player of the Year: Graham Canty

Most sporting moment: Tyrone dropping Sean Cavanagh to give Cork a chance in S/F

Best memory: Tony Hannon's last minute 45 for Wicklow v Down

Best game: Cork v Tipp in Munster Championship

Best Team: Kilkenny

Player of the Year: Tommy Walsh

Most sporting moment: Walsh v Tipp in Final - he could easily have lost the head !!!!!

Best memory: Cody V Podge and Rodge's older brother after the final



GAA personality of the Year: Me

Football

Best game: Tyrone v Kildare - maybe because it was on the Sunday of race week, but was the game I most enjoyed watching this year.

Best Team: Kerry - trophies don't lie.

Player of the Year: Paul Galvin - without him Kerry would have fallen to one of Longford, Sligo or Antrim, and we probably would have had the Dubs contesting the Final.

Most sporting moment: Michael Meehan v Sligo, making sure O'Hara wasn't sent off (you can be sure Eamon wouldn't have been as sporting )

Best memory: Johnny Davey being hauled down for a penalty. For a moment we dared to dream

Best game: All-Ireland Final, best final in a long time.

Best Team: Kilkenny

Player of the Year: Tommy Walsh

Most sporting moment: Walsh v Tipp in Final - could have tried to get him sent off, could have retaliated.

Best memory: Plan B

GAA personality of the Year: Frank Murphy - think he's a c**t, but got to admire the way he manages to continually come out of the sh*t smelling of roses.
