On The Road To Germany...

Right then people, I'm leaving for 2 weeks in (sunny?) Bavaria tomorrow lunchtime, so it's farewell for now. I have a choice between heading to The Dubliner Hotel and Irish Pub or O'Reilly's Irish Bar to watch the Tipperary vs. Limerick game on Sunday (can't wait for that) and then chilling out for a fortnight, perhaps with a bit of walking, biking, canoeing etc thrown in for good measure. Don't miss me too much!

I'll be back in the nick of time for the All-Ireland Final, meanwhile will all those involved in the hurling tipster competition get their predictions for the Senior, Minor and U21 semi-finals to me. I am not sure of exactly when I get back, but it may be only a few days before the Liam McCarthy and Minor finals so use your common sense (if any of us have any!) and send in predictions for the Senior and Minor hurling finals before 10pm the night before and everything should work fine. the accent isn't too bad - a queer mix between Yorkshire, Essex and Irish (interestinf family background me!) - sure I can't speak German but I'll let the blue and gold jersey do all the talking on Sunday!
