Qualifiers Round 2

Roll up! roll up! Ladies and Gentlemen, the draw for Round 2 of the qualifiers will take place on Sunday. The winners from Round 1 will face off against the beaten Provincial semi finalists.
In bowl one we will have:
Sligo
Roscommon
Westmeath
Laois
Cavan
Derry
Kerry and
Clare

In bowl two we will have:
Wexford
Donegal
Monaghan
Longford
Tipperary
Down
Wicklow and
Meath.

Anyone wanna hazard a guess for the pairings?

Sligo - Wexford
Roscommon - Meath
Westmeath - Donegal
Laois - Monaghan
Cavan - Tipperary
Derry - Longford
Kerry - Wicklow
Clare - Down

In what has been a bleak summer for Leitrim folk, football-wise, our only hope rests with the extermination of Roscommon.
This is likely to be achieved by pairing them with Kerry in Killarney.

I'd say Clare would even give them a thumping!!! I mean c'mon if Mayo can do it?

Now that I look at it again, they are in the same pool of the draw.

MMM If Monaghan get Kerry this year I'll write to the UN on your behalf asking for the draw inspectors to take a look!!! I know to win it you have to beat the best but the draw has been awful unkind to you lot this last couple of years. Although last night wasn't brilliant in terms of quality of performance I think over the last couple of years you deserve an appearance in at least the semi finals.

i agree with ya tho that Kerry will probably get Wicklow at home. i dont think the GAA want Kerry gone from the championship before the 1/4 finals so they will get the likes of Wicklow or Roscommon in the 2nd round and if they make the 4th round then they will get Antrim. the GAA did it with Dublin a few years ago and now they will probably do it with Kerry. i hope im wrong tho
