Championship Fantasy Football

Championship 2012 fantasy football competition is being run in the Gaelic Life, closing date is Wednesday 16th May at 5pm.

Is anyone interested in having a mini league here? I think this was done before by Bocerty or someone.

There is another site called fantasygaelic.ie that is offering €20,000 (about £5.00) in its prize pool. Have a look and tell us what one we'll go for......or i can just take the hint that no one is interested giving the responses so far!!

i'll give it a go BE - whichever one we decide to go with or do both perhaps!!!

I would be up for the BE. If it's online then I'd say a lot of people would! Is it hard to set up a league? I have some time on my hands so I can do it if we have enough interested.

Right, it looks like there is 3 of us interested! I have selected the Gaelic Life Fanstasy Football competition as our one of choice for the simple reason is that it's free!

If we can get 10 players from here, they will run a private league for us also.

Forwards +1
Midfielders +2
Defenders +3 (includes goalkeepers)

Scoring goals:
Forwards +3
Midfielders +6
Defenders +10 (includes goalkeepers)

No goals conceded:
Defenders +5
Goalkeepers +8

Each goal conceded:
Defenders -2
Goalkeepers -3

Game win:
All players: +3

Red card:
Red -7 (2nd yellow or straight red)

Appearances:
Appearance from start: 5
Appearance as sub: 1st half: 3
Appearance as sub: 2nd half: 2

Captaincy:
Captain: double points (+ or -)
A member of your team must be nominated as captain. Your captain will score double the number of points he would usually have been awarded for any game played in. If you fail to nominate a captain you will not be awarded double points;

Match win: +10
Match draw: +5

aye lads keep the coming, i know it only covers Ulster teams but sure its a bit of craic and 5 minutes completes the whole thing
