Pressure Points ....
At a little remove from the All Ireland Final and having watched it more than once I was struck by the quality of EVERY score in the last 10 minutes - all executed under the most extreme pressure.
Gooch's point on 63 minutes was pure class - pure Cooper class. So take out McManamon's goal and the next score was awesome - a 40 metre kick from half back Kevin Nolan -his first in the C'ship to bring the sides level.
Then Bernard Brogan kicks a fantastic point given the pressure - he had one second to score it. But we have come to expect that from BB.
On the 70th minute and with his team a point down Kieran Donaghy scores what is probably the bravest and most audacious score seen in HQ in 2011 and longer - but alas it is to count for nought.
Then Cluxton nails it from a placed ball in extraordinary fashion.
So the last 5 points of the game were all exquisite.
Cassidy's point v Kildare was also amazing. So what were the pressure points in 2011 - what was THE best point scored and why?
I think Donaghy's was meself!

I agree about Donaghy's point, it was an immense score from a player who had a great Final. Cavanagh scored from a similar position in the final few minutes of the 2008 final.

Athleticism, commitment, patience, timing, creativity. Benny Coulter with a beauty.
And another one, leaving the famed Tyrone defence for dead.
And a gem from one of our most underrated forwards, Mark Poland
