GAA Quiz
10.45pm tomorrow.
I'm not sure how good this will work out but I will give it a try. If it turns out to be a disaster, then at least I tried.
I will not run it unless I see there are at least eight people logged on at 10.45pm.
I will post the questions and whoever answers the quickest with the correct answer gets one point. You can post as many guesses as you like.
Hopefully there will be thirty questions (three rounds of ten), although that could change subject to time and numbers.
You will need to keep refreshing your computer/laptop in order to be the quickest to answer, unfortunetely there is no other way around that. However, I will post 30 second warnings.
Lastly, Admin
1. When someone posts a reply and another person posts a reply in between, you get the option to modify or save. Please could you disable that option for this thread tomorrow. Or if you have any other suggestions yourself?
2. A prize for the winner? Perhaps 100-150 points?
I think I have covered everything so please make yourself available tomorrow evening.

Re: GAA Quiz
Good Idea Loyal, we could run it on a weekly basis and have a leader table like tipster?

Re: GAA Quiz
I will look in to it. I dont think I can as it is there to prevent flooding.
I was considering this...A battle of the usergroups/counties.

Good man Loyal - great idea - and no chance to google either!! Fastest fingers first eh! I will try to make it although I usually go for a pint on Friday to avoid that insufferable bore on RTE1.Loyal2TheRoyal wrote:10.45pm tomorrow.

Forget your pint this Friday, Jayo.
Quiz will not go ahead unless there is at least 8 people, I would like to re-iterate that. If people don't show an interest, then I'm not going to be wasting my time.
The 3 points added to the tipster score is not a bad idea I think, but I will leave that up to everyone else. I shall also bestow the title of "The Brains Of GAA Tipster" onto the winner.

Re: GAA Quiz
It wouldn't be fair for me to be adding three points to my tipster score every Friday before a ball is kicked!
Maybe Admin could create a scroll - like a McDonalds staff member of the month - and the winner gets put up in lights for the week. Unfair to connect it to Tipster tbh!

15 questions wrote so far. I have tried to include questions which will give all posters an equal chance of victory but I suspect it will be won by someone who is old-ish.
