Weekend of Shocks Empty Weekend of Shocks

Galway 8 points down and down to 14 men, are we going to see another shock this weekend?
Is this the final nail in the coffin of Connaught football?
Galway have 30 minutes to pull this out of the bag but even with wind advantage they look like they haven't realised they are in a game yet.

Galway are frustrating to watch. Bergin was ball greedy when they had that chance on goal. This last 15 minutes Galway have been very frustrating to watch. Joyce is the only one taking his chances.

Galway were just given a 45" there that was never a 45".
What in the name of God was Meehan doing taking it as he never had a hope of getting it.
O'Hara is the ideal extra man but I don't think he's been utilised properly.
It could still go either way but I'm not convinced at all by Galway.

All Galway do is get the ball an no matter where they are on the pitch they shoot.

Dont think any of these teams will be feared in qualifiers

I know the wind has played a huge factor but this is muck.
Jaysus Kelly just took some hit - he put his head where you wouldn't put a shovel.
He has epitomised what is good about this Sligo team.

Jaysus that was some ending. Great composure shown from Bradshaw.

Daylight robbery. Meehan went down very very easy - he has been doing it for years.
Still think it was a sh1t match

Referee was shyte - wouldn't expect anything less from him. Was giving soft free's away all over the place.

Christ, Longford win a game of football for the first time in their history and suddenly their all experts and real authority's on the game.Dirty O Hara went straight for Meehans injured knee there completely taking the legs from under him, should have got the line imo.
BTW your thread title is misguided on two counts 1-Galway were not beaten by Sligo and 2-Even if they had been it would not have constituted a 'shock' as Sligo were a lot of peoples favourites going into the game. Check out the relevant thread for yourself, something to do while your waiting to see who ye draw next in the qualifiers Weekend of Shocks Icon_wink .
