Ref assault

Have ye seen the Youtube video of the attack by a 'fan' in Tipperary on referee Willie Barrett. Plenty footage of it in today's Indo. Not good for our games.Assailant is clearly identifiable so should be charged for assault and banned for life.

Have not seen the video although from what i have read of the incident it is a disgrace.

I agree, some of these lads should have a look at themselves before they castigate others.

Everything is kinda slanted arseways down in Tipp. I love the freezed frame before you press play, it looks like there a mother and child running for cover.

I propose 12 hard skelps of the ash to that gobshite.

Also the GAA have put up a club wall in Croke Park recently, so it that style they should put up a wall of shame highlighting morons like yer man.

This is a sick attack on a referee...Send the culpit to the joy im sure that would quiten him..

The asshole should actually be charged with assault in a court of law cos that's what it was - plain and simple. The sad and possible truth of the matter is that he may be drinking free pints off the back of it cos that kind of 'macho' crap goes down well with too many these days.

ps Pitch looks much better from that angle ....

Agree with Jayo here.. Should be dealt with by the courts. You'd almost feel sorry for the Club he's from though..

Leinster are home and dry for the Top 4 which is how the Magners League will be decided this year. If Connaught beat Ulster they may well qualify for the Heineken Cup at Ulster's expense. You obviously think that's a gimme.

How rugby is appearing in the GAA section baffles me

I sincerely hope that fella got a good slapping, total disgrace to treat one of our volunteers this way! even more concerning is the amount of kids watching some animal think that he is in some way supporting his club, total buffoon, i know where id take him!
