Congratulations Afghanistan!!!!! Empty Congratulations Afghanistan!!!!!

Bet you never thought you'd see that title on here, but congratulations must go to Afghanistan for qualifing for the Twenty-20 Cricket World Cup after hammering Ireland in the final of the qualifying tournament at the weekend!

Amazing story when you consider that 18 months ago they were playing in the 5th tier of World Cricket and 3 years ago a lot of their players started playing in prison camps following the invasion of the country!

A bit of irony also in the fact that they stuffed the USA team on the final!

Ireland also qualified for the World Cup as runners up.
