Well goodness me but I see that Croke Park can now be hired for your wedding reception! We have had all sorts of other matches there so why not a wedding I suppose.
It is nice to think that people from the likes of Carlow, Mayo and Armagh will be able to attend a match in Croker and hopefully not go home after it depressed. I wonder will they allow Donegal arranged weddings? As a matter of fact I wonder will they permit non-Catholic weddings!
Imagine getting your photo taken on the hallowed turf in your wedding dress. That would be a novelty even for Kerry people.
The idea quite appeals to me. Are you available Samin?

Sure this piece of news is buried well in the archives! Why drag up old news?

Ouch.
I still wonder about that.
Maybe it is living up here and hearing about the "disappeared" all the time.

Well Jayo, I don't know if she'd have me (or if I'd have her). But I'd fulfil my honeymoon duties extremely well were such a marriage to ever become reality! Looks like she's gone for good though. If I recall rightly she said not long before her internet "stopped working", that she was going to stop frequenting GAA forums anyway. So I don't hold out much hope. The disappearance of Mid Mon Man is even more peculiar. Still, we must move on.

Ah when the League cranks up hopefully they'll all flock back!
Mind you Loyal I often think (morbidly ) that the nature of the internet and forums etc that you don't ever know what may have become of someone who disappears ..... sobering!

True. Maybe we'll see the return of some old faces once the league kicks into gear.

Re: Weddings in Croke Park!
This is in the news because you can now have a civil cermony in Croke Park - as well as the reception.
I heard of a Dublin couple who have booked their wedding there for September 2010. The guests are delighted that they will be attending a Dublin match in Croker in September for the first time in years!!!
