Wake up call Empty Wake up call

Post  mossbags Sun May 23, 2010 8:25 am

I lucked out last night or earlier tonight or whatever. Can someone please give me a wake up call @ roughly 2pm-ish?, I really don't want to to miss today's GAA action, it looks likely to be top drawer stuff altogether.
Im counting on you guys.

Wake up Moss. You'll have time to make a cup of tea, boil and egg and make some toast before the 2:00 p.m throw in. I went to the pub first so that I could delay the throw in but I couldn't get anyone to join me.

Thank Shinners and Oak Leaf. I am now on my 2nd mug of coffee and wide awake. It looks like a beautiful day, Im torn between heading for a stroll down the prom to check out the talent on this fine day or staying in to watch the game from my beloved Ulster Championship. What to do?

Every Tom, Dick and Harry walks that Prom. Why would you want to breathe in smelly, polluted air? Head out to furbo or Spiddal, the locals are lovely, the beaches are only a little bit polluted(!) and you can practise your native tongue!

I have noticed the birds are now going topless down the prom.If that is being replicated across the land then this is a monumental moment in our history and we can safely declare that Ireland truly has arrived as a nation.

So they have lost a lot of feathers then?

Mossy, you do remember our talk we had a few months ago, don't you? Women/respect etc.?

I am talking about respect here Essie, the respect we have for ourselves as a nation and I also have a healthy respect for the fit birds who are not afraid to show us what their made of down the beach.
