Back in 2007 when it was first rolled out (think there were 8 counties in total) the remunerations package was 65k+ & expenses. It was a 5 or 7 year contract - can't remember which

Full time secretary is on around €65K and expenses. [/quote
i could be wrong Puke (it has happened before) but as far as i remember the secretary of Tyrone County Board is getting in an around £25k salary - yes there may be expenses on top of that but his salary certainly isnt anywhere near the €65K you quote, it might be in other counties but its not in Tyrone

Eve if we were to reduce it to 20 teams in football and a dozen in hurling that is the bones of 30 million before anything else is taken into account. It is nowhere near sustainable.
* it would be even more if we are matching their wages from their previous jobs
Case in point. This one is done to death.
How can it be to the death if youve never seen the figures of the gaa?
No one can say what is and isnt possible without a true accurate reflection of gaa figures. Way you back to your ethos argument anyway instead of trying to get on someone elses argument lol

It's hard to know where to start with you. There are fellas on this site who obviously have more patience than I do, and I envy them for it, but I just have no time for debating such a ridiculous fantasy. Your ignorance across a range of subjects is to be pitied, but that it is coupled with arrogance to not know when you should give up makes it all the worse.
I'll go back to my ethos, and you run a long and find that missing £30m that Puke mentioned. And if/when you find it, find the same again the following year. And the year after. And then, while still finding £30m per year (+ inflation), find another £100m for a new stadium at some stage down the line.

Thomas wind your kneck, my ignorance to not know, ive plenty of good debate on here with plenty of people, so your comments are foolish (oops theres that word again).
As for puke ive said no one not even you the great tc see know it all global gaa champion could possibly know the full financial break down of the gaa without an nationwide audit (to you it would be two nationwide audits NI and ROI lol oj)

No problem. Why don't you come with me, and you can find out the spelling of it.
As for the Republican jibes in the last few posts, not sure what relevance those have. Then again, I don't really know the relevance of any of your posts, while the only debates I see you involved with are one-sided rebukes of your ridiculous opinions on a wide range of subjects.

You eejit you lol, have you read the line ive taken in this debate? ive asked for the possibility of pro games to be looked at by pro people not some clampit like yourself dismissing it as a non runner without any facts, but then again maybe you read an article in the star i dont know, but in this debate your the one sided one, all ive said is why i think it should be pro but i also said it needs looked at properly!

So now I'm a partitionist who reads the Star and has no grasp of financials. Don't tell my family, newsagent or boss, or I'll be in trouble on all 3 counts!
