DCU have a strong Dublin representation. McMahon, McCarthy and Cooper in the backs, Sweeney, Rock and O'Gara in the forwards. Should be easy pickings.

Evens the field.
In the other semi, the reigning O'Byrne Cup champions are 4/5 to beat the reigning ALl-Ireland champions who are 5/4.

Would think thats about right for Dub-Kildare game. DCU very poor value at evens against an intercounty team in their own backyard.

Meath are poor enough in my opinion. We're going nowhere. We might have enough for DCU this Saturday but don't see our fortunes improving much.
We have three maybe four players who would make, say, the Dublin team: Kevin Reilly, Graham Reilly and Paddy Gilsenan all would, and Seamus Kenny - hmm - might.

He is indeed which is genuinely great to see. Hope he stays focused and delivers on the undoubted potential he has.

A bad performance from Meath tonight. We are short a lot of players. I think Meath have slipped out of the top 6.
DCU / Dublin look very strong. O'Gara looked sharp tonight. Dean Rock won't be far way from Giller's final 15. Cooper and McCarthy along with Begley of Laois form a very strong half-back line. The two corner-forwards are very classy. Although we know what Kelly is capable of from his Sligo days but Jack Brady will be a good addition to Cavan.
Not good for Meath however. Paddy Gilsenan aside, we are woeful in the forwards. Disappointed with Graham Reilly who was shocking altogether. Midfield is a disaster and the backs are limited enough. New goalkeeper could be required too.

DCU are a good team, lots of nice footballers. We, on the other hand, were absolutely abysmal. Bit worried about a few of the lads. Graham Reilly was shocking.

How did Jack get on tonight? Do you think he could step up to Senior when the 21s finish?

Very good player - kicked a nice point early on. And another long range effort just wide if I recall. He should be a top player for Cavan, is he u21 again?
Most of the DCU would be county starters or fringe players. Brady must be good if he's getting his place for them.

Yeah Jack has another year, (quite possibly 2) left with the U21s. He scored 1-3 last week too. He'll surely be added to the panel for the League unless we have another good run in the U21s.
He's decent. Fast and elusive, very honest player too.

Is Brendan any relation of Kevin?
Have to say Dublin and Kildare are incredibly well conditioned.
You'd wonder sometimes if it's all natural or if they are taking something.

Loose talk there Loyal. Brendan is Kevin's older brother - sure they are ringers for each other in every way.

didnt see all of the game but Kildare did look pretty fit, more so than the Dubs. Tyrone can expect a tough game against them when the league starts.
