Was thinking that too!
Look, i can fully see why he was dropped from the 2012 squad, but am completely baffled as to why he is banned from the end of year trip! I would love to know what his team mates in the 2011 squad think of it all, and just what this will potientially do for Donegal in 2012. I honestly thought he'd be off the squad until midway through the league campaign then quietly slipped back into the fold, can't see that happening!

Re: Donegal Discipline
Can anyone from Donegal let us know what the feeling on the ground is about this? I would really love to know what the fans think. Or it is a taboo subject? Am amazed that we have had no comment or opinion from Donegal natives.

Omerta
Either than or Ive been in the UK three times and seven nights out of the last ten where
I met Germans, Brits,Americans and two Argentians.
none of whom have strong views on the matter.
The other three nights I have spent in Cavan - and I felt the Argentians had a better insight than anyone ive spoken to around here.

The rest of the country seems to feel it is in a prime position to judge and evaluate Donegal (and has done so all year). Who am I to get in the way of that?

So there you have it. Did we expect anything else from a county that always votes the opposite of everyone else.
Thinking of starting a holiday fund for Kevin to reward him for his displays in the Donegal defence last year. Surely he deserves it as much as his 12 colleagues. Perhaps crossing the halfway line did for him - and then scoring. Anyone want to contribute sign here.

I'm not particuarly worried about what Germans, Brits, Americans and two Argentians would have to say on the matter, however as there are GAA clubs in all of the places you mentioned i'm sure there are views to be had there! It's your personal views i am interested in!
Should i be surprised at the attempted humour through gritted teeth from the Donegal posters? The whole world aren't against you folks, so don't act like it is!

If we said its a shocking disgrace and another symptom of the horrors of Donegal football - Would that keep you happy or do you need to repeat the same twenty posts you made in August. Id thought your Nausea would have recovered by now - Maybe start another thread on it ?

Re: Donegal Discipline
Its a simple question and nothing to do with Donegal's style of play at all.
Do you feel Cassidy has been hard done by? Is it right that he is cut out of the team holiday after all he contributed last year? What is the feeling on the ground among fans. I have huge sympathy for the guy myself and feel he is being treated like a child.

You might get a better response from people if they thought that your simple questions weren't laced with jibes.

See, that's better, it's good to smile, and less chance of the toys being damaged when thrown from the pram.
Not everything has to end in a strop, a mass walk-out and a host of name changes. This morning represents progress.

Who said it was? Sorry if my reply was too criptic. If you don't want to give your opinion on the matter that's fine, just say so.

Ah sure you know yourself. You defend your position anywhere here and are accused of all sorts usually from people who can't really answer the valid points made. Its the oldest trick in the book - accuse others of doing what you yourself are actually doing. Hopefully the more astute posters see through that kind of tactic. And then you get some who make unsubstantiated statements and then ignore them when questioned on them.
Best to keep smiling I always think.

Re: Donegal Discipline
Seemed a harmless enough question from our Dublin poster - not sure why some of you have thrown a strop over it.
Whatever about kicking the lad of the panel (an over reaction i think myself) he hardly deserves to be treated like some sort of a leper by being excluded from the team holiday. He did as much as anyone last season for the cause and deserves to be rewarded just like the others.
Perhaps others think he deserves what he got but it seems none of our Donegal brethren want to share their thoughts. Perhaps they just dont give a sh1t
