Quit living in the past Jayo. It is now that counts and the stats clearly show that Leinster is the poor relation.
Connacht with a population of less than a quarter then that of Leinter has nevertheless out-performed Leinster repeatedly at the highest level in recent times and this is a trend that looks like coninuing for the forseeable future as well by the looks of things.

BS moss - BS. Never mind populations - over there ye have no distractions at all compared to the sparkling metropolis of Dublin and yet ye are going downhill faster than Klammer.

BS? These are facts Jayo, you cannot argue with the facts so you resort to describing it as BS? That sort of attitude is not going to improve things in Leinster at all Im afraid

Jayo, I'll take over from here. Clearly not up to representing the good name of Leinster on the thread.
Look Mossbags, Connacht is woeful. Here's facts for you.
Wexford beat Galway
Longford beat Mayo
Kildare beat Leitrim

No moss the BS is that Leinster is the poor relation. As Loyal shows Leinster are outperforming Connacht teams in recent years. The reality is that Cork, Tyrone and Kerry are and have been the best three teams for the last three years or so. But Connacht, especially this season is quite shocking.

No one in Leinster should be downplaying Connacht or anyone else, until they at least make it to an All-Ireland Final(Legitimatly, I might stress!)
Leinster football is an embarrasment quite frankly and has been for quite some time.

Indeed! In fact I doubt there is a single poster on here who doesn't admire the Royals. Quite aside from their recent success when Louth lost after Sludden death, they have always been the county to admire. Always play with style, sportsmanship and panache, they are the Brazil of the GAA - everybody's favourite second team.

Meath are the only team out of Leinster who, as Patrique might say, KNOW how to win Sam.
The rest are never condenders.

Jesus we're really clutching at straws when we're having to re-hash the same threads over and over.
When was the last time Galway got passed the quarter finals? When all they do to get there is beat New York and London and mediocre teams like Roscommon and Leitrim?
But we're not talking about Galway only, what about Mayo - yes those hardy bucks who were beaten by mighty Longford this year - yes the same Longford who were only better than London and Kilkenny this year. Mayo may have reached finals in the 2000s but come on when you look back on those days they were only there to make up numbers really. I think I'd prefer to lose by the odd point in a semi final than to get whipped the length and breadth of Croke Park in a final.
But maybe that's not the attitude to have. I suppose when all is said than done - when people look back on the Championships of years gone by the first thing that always think of is "hmmm who lost the final that year?"
Ah yes of course Moss, because Mayo and Galway are falling down with All Irelands compared to everyone else.
Leinster have only won 44 All Irelands compared with the huge tally of 14 from Connaught
I have to hand it to you though, if there was a Celtic Cross awarded for being a WUM than no other poster, county or province would come close
