Crokes seemingly the ones to beat again so.

I heard UCD were impressive last night too, I'd like to see them go all the way.

There are some who would prefer if UCD weren't even in the Championship but maybe Dublin would benefit more from having their full squad together in January and throughout the league than potentially having some players unavailable up until March.
Crokes looking good, Plunketts keeping it low key but getting the results. Its getting very interesting.

No thats definitely right L.

Agree with your predictions except I expect Lucan to beat BSE. There are underrated - and have already knocked Crokes into the backdoor.

St Marys 1-8 UCD 0-9 - bit of a turn up but I am delighted!
St Judes 2-8 St Ol Plunketts/ER 0-14 - replay down for 7.30 tomorrow in Parnell!
Ballyboden St Endas 2-10 Lucan Sarsfields 1-10 - tight, I thought Lucan might surprise a few here.
Ballymun Kickhams 1-10 Kilmacud Crokes 2-8 - The Mun ran them to a point!

Do they get low crowds for Dublin club matches, is that why they are on midweek underlights?

Crowds would not be that big Clash tbh - even for double headers. Even though most clubs would be from heavily populated areas usually only the club members would go.

Puts the 1 million population argument into perspective!

Alas not a Northside club in the semis! Once the bastion of Dublin football - now a wasteland!

Judes and Marys in semi! Can St Marys win their first title since 1921?? Or will Judes go on and in their first??

Either way the winner of Crokes and Endas will be favs.

After a titanic tussle of Dublin v Meath in 1991 proportions, Ballyboden St Endas beat Kilmacud Crokes by 4 points this evening.
This game - their second replay also went to extra time and 'Boden now have just 5 days to gear themselves up for the final against St Judes.
Will the lack of matches since their semi final wreak havoc on Judes' plans?
Or will 'Boden come up just short after a few very tough games?
Sunday at 4:00 p.m all will be revealed.

It'll be interesting to see if Leinster Council wait on the Dublin Champions this year. Who'll ever forget Seneschalstown versus Portlaoise three days after the final of the Meath SFC Final. If Dublin beat Cork, then I can't see Dublin being represented. Even a defeat to Cork, it'll be a hectic run-in, lots of Wednesdays in Parnell Park.

The next round of championship is scheduled for the week 25th - 28th of August.
If Dublin and Cork draw it will put the cat amongst the pigeons!!!
